This experience was the hardest thing I have had to go through. I take comfort in the fact that we LOVED that child and he/she will never be forgotten. I also took comfort in my favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" The Lord has a plan for me, my family and everyone. A lot of things ran through my head, maybe the Lord's plan for me was to have these two girl's and that was all, I wasn't sure. Even though I wanted another I had to put it in his hands. I prayed a lot, I cried a lot and tried to resume some type of normal self.
On Monday January 8th, was on the phone to my friend Charissa, she had asked me when I was able to start trying again and I told her probably after my first cycle but with everything that happened, I didn't know if i could go through another loss like that... I did the math and realized that if i was on my regular schedule i would be late. So she urged me to go take a test. I really didn't want to but I did. and it was positive.. so i took another one the next day and that was positive. I called the doctor and they sent me to get a blood draw for my HCG levels and Progesterone.
January 8th I was called with the results HCG came back at a 710 mIU/mL and progesterone at a 18 ( they say 15 or higher is good) and on January 10th I received news that it had risen to 1730. (A pregnant woman's HCG hormone should double every two days.)
